good day to all.. surely it is already a late post, had my interview last april 14, 2011 wanna share my interview experienced..
I went to US embassy at 4:30 am(the new building much closer to the baywalk). The guard told me to line up on the the fiancee visa immigrant lane, I cant count how much minutes ive waited standing outside the embassy, i was wearing heels so i feel like standing and waited there for years ahaha.. i think its around 6am when at last the guard started to call us so we can forward going inside the embassy, always ready your appointent letter/confirmation letter that youve downloaded thru online and one ID. the guy outside checked it then a gurl checked it also. I entered the US embassy and saw 3 windows.. that time there is 2 windows open, the woman asked for my appointment letter and the DS forms, She gave it back to me, but she has attached a small piece of paper which has my number throughout the process inside..she then asked me if i was already done with my medical and where is my passport,( i told her st. lukes has it) she told me to drop the appointment letter at window 39 inside the main building of the embassy, when i get in i sit down and ive waited for my number to be flashed on the screen.. my number was (7007). after few minutes my number was flashed on the screen with corresponding window 54, the pre-screener was a filipino old guy he was so nice we wer like just friends talking to each other, he keeps on a smile on his face while asking me if i lives in toril, davao city. he told me that they visited toril last year and keep telling stories about there experienced here, he asked me to give it to him my fiance income tax return i gave him from 2008-2010 but he only get 2009-2010, my NBI clearance, cenomar, NSO birth certificate, LOI and the affidavit of support then he let me sign the DS FORMS as per instructed by him. after that he asked me if my fiance is divorce, how many time he visited me, what year, then he let me go back to my sit and wait for my number to be flashed on the screen again, when i get back on my sit after few minutes i was shocked because my number was flashed again on the screen but at the same window so went there and he smile at me and said sorry because he forgot to ask this questions ( my fiance's age, my age, how did we meet, in what site, if i have a child and if he is sending money to me). then after that he said we are done and i can go back to my sit again toinks..
i meet nice filipina there with the same case status as mine and had able to chitchat with them. after 30 minutes my number was flashed on the screen with corresponding window 41 it is time for finger scanning.. a minute or 2 im done with it back to my sit again and ive waited for my final interviewer.. i wasnt nervous at all i dunno maybe too confident because i have everything ready. ehehhe as the pre-interviewer told me that all i need to present to the final-interviewer is our proofs of on going relationships..
at last my number was flashed again cant remember what window is it lol. the interviewer is a half chinese-half filipino guy.. he was not that friendly lol as the first interviewer. he was not smiling and i greeted him good morning.. he replies too but after that he wasnt looking at me everytime he asked me questions he is too busy looking at our papers.. then he asked me (how old is my fiance, my birthday, where and how did we meet, what online site, what is my fiance's job and when is his last visit here in PI) thats it and he just say the magic words ( OK, CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR VISA IS APPROVED).. im so damn happy cant imagine that was real smooth interview and he even did not ask for anything like our proofs of on going relationships and our pictures.. i made all the effort but guess it really depends on the CO.. im one of the lucky people who face a not stricts CO.. thank GOD!
he asked me to go back to my sit and wait for my number to be flash again on the screen.. i saw my number flashed on the screen with the corresponding window 74. i go there and the woman give back to me my appointment letter and a delivery form i need to sign my infos and delivery address. she said to go to window 69 ang give the form to the lady there. when i went there the lady ask me if im done or if the CO ask an additional requirements i told her im done, but the CO doesnt request additional requirements from me! she looks at my form then she said ok maam you can go home now.. just wait for your visa to be deliver at your house..
i gave him a very big smile and say thank you! that was the end of my interview journey..
i was done at 9:30 am.. go back to the hotel and fell asleep until 7pm waaa..
