Interview date JAN.26,2011 My wife arrived at the consulate at 7:30. Her interview started at 10:30. She was interviewed by a tall white male and vietnamese male national. There was also a young black female present.
My wife was asked if she spoke english, her reply yes, but only a little. The entire interview was done in vietnamese.
My wife was asked for our photos.
She was asked when we met . How we met. How I proposed and when. When I proposed the 2nd time. How many time I had visited her , and the date of each arrival.
Where I work. what my job was. At this point my wife tried to show something I had made for her where I work. I am a machinist. She was told they didn't want to and didn't need to see it. The whole interview went down hill from this point. My wife became very nervous. The vietnamese interviewer was very rude.
What are your husband hobbies.
what kind of fish does he fish for. Where does he fish. what does he use when he goes fishing. how many boats does he have.
Does your husband have any kids. Who does your husband live with. When did he start living by himself . Where does your husband live . What city does he live in. Have you ever spoken to any of his kids. Who introduced your husband to you. . .what are their names. . .Does your husband kids live with him.
My wife was given a blue slip asking for a timeline of our relationship, our residence history for the last 10 yrs, They never looked at any of our other evidence. BURDEN OF PROOF is on us... IMO, we should have done more to make sure they looked at every piece of evidence we had.
Feb, 23 2011. My wife turned in the requested docs at 1pm. she waited until 5pm and then was given a denial letter. saying our marriage was a sham.
Now we wait for the NOID or NOIR . . . We can make no plans to see each other, and that hurts...
