Oh well its my time to share my experience for my AOS interview. But please bear with my english im not native speaker. This forum really helps me a lot to prepare for our Interview. I came here in America with B2 or tourist visa then changed my status to F1 studied for 3 yrs.
First we known each other since 2005. But out relationship turn romantic on 2009. 2009 we start dating then june 2010 we got married. On Sept 2010 we filled a petition for I-130. We have a lawyer but we pay him $3000 just to process our papers and be present on the interview. My husband is the petitioner. Then got fingerprinted. On Dec 2010 we received a letter from USCIS for a interview and it was schedule on Feb 2011.3 weeks before the interview I was really stress about the interview. I keep on reading forums in different sites what are they experience. Ok to keep my story short.
I would say that me and husband is lucky. We are a green card winner yahooooo...
Feb 2011. We went to Newark local office for AOS interview. Our appt is 2:00 pm. we already there 1:30 waiting and other couples too. Most of the they will not separate you on the first. but if IO as a doubt that the marriage fraud he/she may ask you to step outside and wait to be called. I seen two couples ask to step outside one is black and spanish couples and the other one kinda asian and white. The asian guys is a disabled person he doesnt have legs.
By 3:20 our named called finally after 2 hrs of waiting.
Ask my for ID and passport so i gave all mt 3 passport. He said please stand up and sworn blah blah..... and have a sit. MY husband is kinda nervous on that time I could see to his face lol.

IO asked for any evidence that we truly married and both our names on it. We gave him a Bank statement like for 4 months cuz my husband handed in the copy he gave the statement with no activity all 4 statements don\'t have any activity cuz thats our savings. Car insurance that he just recently add me 3 weeks before. Marriage certificate and Income tax return. Then continue looking on the computer and flipping the file on the then after he said ok ur interview is done just wait for me outside. IO has my 3 passport SSS and EAD. Then after 10 mins he handed back my passport ead sss said just w8 for 2-3 weeks for the decision.
We went home and check the status online in USCIS.gov website and says \"we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.\" on that time im soo happy we just need to wait for the green card to arrive.
So I hope this post will help everybody. I wish that everyone are also GC winner. Just keep in mind that do it a ahead of time plan everything so you wont be stress on the interview. And I would say that it really depends on the IO so I wish ur IO is kind and helpful like our IO..
