Wasn't a long day for us pretty brief. Arrived at 0730AM on our interview day. Was put with group to wait for entry into embassy based interview times. Finally was let inside the embassy at 0800Am wife went to booth and they checked the interview letter.
Be warned that a hard time is given in philippines for not keeping up with interview letter that was stamped by ST. Lukes medical center for medical exam. Guy in Front of wife was given a hard time for not presenting the stamped interview letter from St. Lukes medical exam.
We sat down for a long time waiting and finally got called to window 37 for the pre interview. Had some laughs with the nice lady and she commented on our Wedding and honeymoon pictures. Once done with the pre interview we were told to sit and wait for name to be called for wifes biometric fingerprints scans.
After fingerprint scan wife was told to sit and wait till our number is called for final interview with consulate officer. Consulate officer was straight to the point and ask just direct questions of us. After he was satisfied with our answers he said looks like you guys are all set and have a great day. he also said wait for name to be called to get to explained on visa delivery process.
After hearing that we both knew that wife was approved and good to go and she will be leaving her home for a long time and accompany her hubby to her new home and country.
Questions asked by consulate:
Where did you meet?
When did you meet face to face?
When did you get married?
The petitioners occupation?
Did beneficiary ever travel outside of country?
Why was wife late registered on birth certificate?
Other than that nothing hard just questions straight from paperwork submitted. Just be yourself and relax it's not hard at all.
