USICS Tampa, 19th July 2010, 11:30am

We arrived 45 minutes early, went and handed our appointment letter in and then were told to go and sit in the white cabin at the side of the building. We were sat there for only about 20 minutes, if we had gone at 11am we would have only been sat 10 minutes. Anyways we were called to go back to the big building and were told to go and sit in another lobby, no sooner and I seriously mean it, no sooner were we sat down than we were asked to go in to the interview, so yep our interview was early

The Interviewer introduced himself and we took the Oath, immediately he told us that he had everything he needed and would stamp my passport. He took a copy of our son's birth certificate and asked if we wanted to give him anything else, but he said quite honestly he didn't need it. I showed insurance and life insurance, that was it, he wasn't bothered about photo's etc and I had a whole file of evidence and a photo album.

So after the questions of have I even been deported or in deportation proceedings and a couple of others that was it. No other question, in fact him and my Husband got talking about jobs and having security clearances etc.

The Interviewer was great, kept us very relaxed and shook our hands on the way out. He told us there should have been another couple in before us, but they wouldn't get up and go in to the interview room, so he brought us in, weird if you ask me, but hey you never can tell whats going through peoples heads at a stressful time like this.

So now here we are at home, I have a the temp stamp in my passport and waiting on the proper GC to come through, he said it could be between 2 weeks and 2 months, but he said I was now a PR and could work and travel as I liked.
