When you start the process, do your homework and spend the time to put together your I-130, AOS and DS-230 packages completely and make 3 copies of them. Once you get your I-130 approved (NOA2), things will begin to move very fast so, have all your paperwork ready. Do all your payments online and you will save lots of time as well. Once the NVC approves all your paperwork and forwards it to the Embassy, go take your medical and also go sit for the film at the CFO. Do as much as you can in advance and you will save lots of time and stress as well. The interview is a tossup really. Our prescreener only asked a few simple questions and wanted to see our Photos. The Consular asked only 2 yes/no questions besides Mine and my Husbands names and birthdates: Have you been to another Country before, and do you have kids. I was disappointed because I had been carrying that heavy file pouch around since 5am. I almost asked, IS THAT IT?..LOL..Just glad it went so easy. GOODLUCK TO ALL ON YOUR JOURNEY AND THANKS TO ALL OF YOU THAT HELPED US ON OURS...
