The interview was pretty painless. Long lines - yes, the interviewer was very personable. 30 mins in line outside (thank god, the rain stopped), go to window 5 or 6, go to the cashier (immigration visas without standing in line, for a k-1 visa the fee is $350 now), then go back to window 5-6 and give them the forms, police cert, pasport copy, birth cert copy and original, etc (basically everything from the list). Then wait, wait, and wait. Then talk to the interviewer. Pretty basic questions, when/how did you meet? bio questions (about yourself), where you're gonna live and get married. "You are approved". Yay! Leave, wait for your visa to be delivered in couple of days (within a week, he said). The interviewer was very personable and his sense of humor really helped in this stressful by default situation))
