We got there early, 6:30ish. Another VJer was in front of us. People didnt start showing up until after 7am, then there was a steady stream of them.
They opened the doors just after 7:30am. Once through security we waited until 7:50am to go up in the elevator. We were the only ones facing the right way. The security guard pointed out that it would open the other way.
Once in the holding area we only waited for 10-15 minutes before they called us up to booth 9. Once there she directed Jay to go pay the bill. She asked me for...
Birth Certificate plus copy.
Passport and copy.
Police Check.
I-134 and supporting documents.
Letter of intent from both of us.
She asked me to sign a paper but never asked me to review anything. She took my fingerprints with no problem.
We returned to the waiting area and waited there until roughly 9:10am. She got us to swear to tell the truth and took a fingerprint. She asked us several questions
"How did you meet?"
"When did we meet?"
"What do we do for a living?" ( She then asked more detail about his job)
"Does he have insurance?"
"Will i be working?"
"When did we get engaged?"
"When was the last time i was in the US?"
She asked about my ring and more but i cant really remember what they were.
She then said she was glad to approve us and welcome to the US.
It took maybe 7 minutes and was very painless. We were out of there before 9:20am
