Our interview was February 18, 2010 at 8am. Me, my husband and his son stayed with his Aunt and Uncle the night before as his cousin was bringing us to the appointment. We left about 330am and reached by 615 (I didn\'t want to be late). When we got there we were parked and paid some Jamaican gentlemen JA$400 to park the car. He gave us a lot of information and insured that we had all the necessary pictures and everything that we would need, which we did, since I try to be over prepared for these things.
We got out of the car and headed down to the extremely long line at about 730am. We were asked by one of the ladies why we were there and explained for our 8am appointment. We were then directed to a much shorter line, for those of us applying for our family Visas. We were directed thru security and then had to cross thru the courtyard where we re-entered the building and had to present our pictures to a lively gentleman who we saw regularly while waiting.
We then went in to a full room where there were 2 windows taking people (5 and 6 I think). We were soon called and they asked for my stepsons passport and while reviewing the file she then asked for his medical paperwork, I told her that it was suppose to be forwarded from Mo-bay. She thanked me and then proceeded to go thru the same routine with my husband. Then she asked us to have a seat and wait for our number to be called again.
Meanwhile people were being called back up to window 9 where the actual interview was taking place. I tried to hear some of the questions, but I was standing toward the back of the room and we were all very tired. I finally got a seat and my stepson curled up on my lap, where he proceeded to fall asleep (so at this point, if they are paying attention, they can see the bond that we already have).
We finally got called up to window 8, for our interview (at this point they had opened a 2nd window for interviews). She asked a few questions, about when we met and my husband was obviously nervous, so I was trying to help him. At that point she asked me to sit down so she could ask him questions. She picked up the phone and at that point I couldn\'t hear too much of what was being said. She then called me back up and asked my husband to sit. She asked me just a few basic questions:
Why did we get married after knowing each other for only 1 month?
How many times have I visited? (I showed her both my passports)
Have I met his family?
Has he met my family?
That was really it, as I elaborated for every question.
She then called my husband back up and told us that everything had gone well, but because the medical paperwork was missing we were at a standstill.
We got the bluesheeet. 
We now have the medical paperwork, and I am back in the States waiting for my husband to schedule his appointment.
We had to go to the bank to purchase our pin...if this happens to you make sure you have ALL ID\'s. (As I didn\'t have my passport because I don\'t like to carry it when we are out an about...just in case I lose it somewhere.)
I just am anxious to have my family here with me, and can\'t wait to get his appointment scheduled so I can o back and bring them home...
