Review Topic: K1 Visa

I know it's been a while but here is my review.

My Wife interviewed May 30th, 2008 for her K1 visa. We arrived about 6:30am, and when the Consulate opened the doors, the guards were kind, and we were about in the middle of the pack. At the time my wife was 5 months pregnant.

She went in and took a number. Like I said we were about the middle of the pack but they called her p FIRST. Maybe they saw that she was pregnant and didn't want to risk having a baby born in the consulate (U.S. Citizen by default). She was interviewed by one of the Korean women in the Consulate that are known for being rude. Well, my wife introduced herself in ENGLISH, and the CO told her she could interview in VIETNAMESE. She was asked about 5 questions (to which she new all the correct answers) and was given a PINK slip. All together she was in the consulate about 1 1/2 hours. Much of the time is spent sitting and waiting for the first numbers to be called. All in ALL, a GREAT experience.
