My fiance and myself have had a pleasant experience with the embassy in El Salvador. However, I'm not a fan of the Visa Processing Center in Mexico, as every time I call, I get different information, that is unreliable and insufficient. To add salt to the wound, you have to prepay with credit card before you can speak with anyone. It's a far cry from excellence in customer/citizen services.
