I did not attend the K-1 interview and as a result, our case has been put into administrative processing. My fiance had a couple minute interview before they told her that her petitioner should be there and then they gave her the letter asking for more evidence. I have sent in everything I have: 3 years of tax information (all original W-2's, everything). Sent in 2 round of evidence after the interview and the first round was responded to by sending my fiance the exact same letter she received after the interview. After the second round of evidence, the case was put into administrative processing and has been there since February. I visited the consulate in January to make sure they had our file and everything was in there. Not sure when it will get out of administrative processing. I contacted a lawyer for a consultation and that was a big waste of time and money because he didn't know anything more than I did and basically said he couldn't help. I have written congressman and the senator but they just say to wait it out. In the meantime, the baby has been born in Ecuador and there is a whole new set of things to do now.
