we arrived early and signed in and they gave us a number. so we waited for a long time. our appointment time was 11:30 am and just past 12:00 lunch time, they said just to come back after lunch. after lunch we kept waiting for another hour before a woman called our number and we went back to her room. she found our file and started going thru the file and then asked for my wife's birth certificate. she did not like the looks of it, and said we would have to get a new one. we told her that it was issued by the NSO in the philippines and if you got another one it would be the same, by the way i had extra copies of with me. she then asked to see our proofs of living together, so i gave her bank letter and insurance letter and other papers from the state of florida showing that we lived in the same address. that is all she wanted even though i had brough a briefcase full of documents and proofs per the visa guides. the she asked my wife if she had a criminal record or was planning criminal activity.

after that she just said that there were more checks to be done, and to wait for the letter. no approval or any other work. in other words a mean old cranky woman, give her a worst for an interviewer
