Waited in a long line outside of the embassy from very early in the morning until midday. No bathroom breaks, no shade from the summer sun. People that arrived shortly after me were told they were too late and weren't able to get to their appointment. I don't know what happened to them. Once inside the embassy, it was more waiting in line. The interview itself was very fast. Only a few questions about my American spouse and our relationship. I ended up being denied because I didn't have a certified translation of my military ID. So I travelled back home to Croatia, translated and notarized the military ID and sent it through their website. I was approved a few weeks later.
