Huge interview slot availability - When I was selecting my spot, there was a spot open in 2 days even.

I had my appointment at 10. I arrived at the embassy around 9:10 and there was a pretty long line formed already - about 15 people. First you need to go to one of the windows with your DS confirmation page and passport. Then line up to enter the embassy, I didn't wait long there - maybe 10 minutes to be let in.

I was directed to window 13 to register. You're then given a number. Then my number was called to another window, where they took my passport, 2 pictures, fingerprints, i-134, birth certificate (long version - make sure you have a copy), police certificate and updated letter of intent to marry. I was informed that my interview will be in English. Then I had to wait for the interview itself and the waiting took pretty long - about 1,5h so make sure to take something with you to kill time. Phones are NOT ALLOWED. There's a vending machine with snacks and drinks in the room and also kid corner with some toys and drawings.

I was called to the window for interview around 11:45 and it went very smoothly - lasted about 5 minutes in total. The consul asked few questions related to my fiance and our relationship, didn't look at any documents and gave me back the original birth certficiate and approved my visa.

The whole experience was pleasant - staff at security and windows was super nice and helpful!
It definitely help alleviate my stress.
