Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam | Review on October 1, 2025: | Buddy Lee

I am the USC was not at the interview with my wife in HCMC, this is her experience. She had a similar experience getting into the embassy (line up, paper work, phone check, address check, submit official copies, finger print, then wait). We had uploaded additional evidence, photos with time entries and descriptions, health insurance membership, authorized credit card with her name on it. Since we uploaded everything, I mentioned she didn't need to bring hard copies. She only needed hard copies of the requested official documents if they wanted to keep anything. We've heard of others requesting the Relationship Form from the US Embassy in Vietnam (google the form and you can find it). We did not submit the relationship form however, we based our photos using these questions as guidelines. She had stacked of evidence printed out, interview did not ask to see any off it. She was approved after the last question. She was asked these questions:
?
Initial Screening Questions
1. ?Who is sponsor? Are both of you getting married for the first time?
2. ?Do you have any common children or stepchildren?
3. ?Have you ever traveled abroad?
?Interview Questions
1. ?How did you both get to know each other?
2. ?What is the matchmaker's relationship to you? When to introduce?
3. ?Do you have any relatives in the United States?
4. ?How many times has your husband returned to Vietnam?
5. ?Did the two of you have a wedding ceremony? Did anyone from your husband's family attend?
6. ?What kind of job do you plan to do when you arrive in the US? Have you found a job yet? How will you find one? (Important: Many people who previously answered this question did not know they were given green cards)
7. ?What do you love about your husband? What is one thing about your husband that you don't like?
She ran out the Embassy with a HUGE SMILE!
Good luck to everyone and thank you community! Keep sending updates please!
