Got to the embassy at around 6:30 and stood in line for my 7am appointment. Didn't get in until 7:30 or 7:40. First they give you the security talk of everything that is restricted.Pay attention to what is being said to save yourself inconvenience. Discard of everything they say isn't allowed or pay someone to keep it for you. Then you go inside through the metal detector and get searched. If you have anything prohibited you will be sent outside to discard and join back the long line.
I went inside the court yard and received a number and wait some more. Got called to the window and provided documents and passport. Sat again and wait for the actual interview which took less than 5 minutes.
I was done by 9:30. I got issued the next day and picked up 2 days later.
Don't be nervous. Just answer the questions asked.
