Everyone was extremely kind and very professional. From the security guards, to the ladies working at the lines, the people working at the windows and the COs. Extremely nice people! I can’t give them enough praise to be honest.

It’s encouraged that the sponsor comes with the beneficiary! The CO will ask why your fiancé/fiancée is not there, or in some cases will ask that you come back with them. I went with my fiancé because I heard that it was important from others who had their interview at this embassy. We were asked really easy questions as a result and was out the door in 3 minutes.

Questions asked to my fiancé:
1. How did you guys meet?
2. Have you met her family before?
3. Have you ever been married before?

Questions asked to me:
1. You’re from LA? Curious what made you come out here? We don’t get a lot of people from Los Angeles!
2. Have you ever been married before?

I will say our CO was very friendly, but we were confused if we got approved or not because everyone else was saying “congratulations” to the interviewees, he told my fiancé “good luck in America” gave us a paper and then I read we were approved. Lol 😂 My fiancé didn’t believe he was approved at first, but then I showed him online it says approved and then he felt relieved.

My only suggestion is to eat before heading to your appointment. You’re going to be hungry and thirsty.
