Review Topic: K3 Visa

My appointment was at 2 pm. I arrived 15 minutes before, and there was already alot of people before me, with a wait building up due to security checks before going inside Consulate.
Inside, after half an hour of waiting, I got called to window nr. 1. A lady that spoke Dutch took my documents. Originals were requested and kept, even though I had copies with me. She was not friendly or unfriendly, just professional. She took my fingerprints and I sat back down.
About 10 minutes later I got called to window nr. 3, where the Consular officer sat. He was very friendly, making jokes and only asked me about three questions (when did you get married, where is your husband now, how did you meet). He then explained me some things I have to pay attention to because my husband is military.
Then he said "I see no problems, but the computer is still undecided". They would call me when the visa is done and I can go pick it up. This would take a few working days.
That was it. I didn't have to show any Affidavit of Support info or proof of bona fide relationship (even though I had taken along all that info), the interview was over real fast.
One negative thing: your interview happens standing up in front of a window, with behind you everyone that is still waiting listening in. This would have been annoying, if they had actually asked more personal questions.
