Review Topic: K1 Visa
The appointment was 8:20.
I gave my cell phone to the volume guard lady. (I paid R$10 for my cell phone)
They called people scheduled from 8am to 8:45am.
Went in, got xrays. Went through my purse and kept my mirror to be thrown away. I'm so happy to see you in the future.
A man checks the documents and hands over a sheet to put the documents in order (I had already put everything in order thanks to a post here in the group). Handed me a sheet to fill out about addresses I also wrote down a sheet with the hotel address I'm staying and my fiancé's address. I didn't take my fiancé's email, but he said it's fine and I left it blank.
Got called to a first desk for docs conference. She's already returned all the copies to me, she's just left with the originals.
She also already informs in case the medical documents haven't arrived. (Another K1 girl made the appointment 5 days earlier, also in BrasÃlia and had not arrived yet. So at the time of the interview the consul told her that "the visa was temporarily denied until they receive it. 😩)
Asked me to sit and wait to be called by the consulate.
When called by name you take the oath and then the interview.
*Questions*
•How did you and your fiancé meet?
•Have you ever had problems with the police?
• Have you ever visited another country?
• Has your fiance ever come to Brazil? When? (My fiancé came twice)
•Was it the first time he proposed to you? (I said yes and showed my ring on my finger 😅)
• Does he know his family? (Not in person)
• Do you have any wedding plans yet?
"Your visa has been approved and you will receive your package at the address provided.
