The process was much easier than I expected. I attended the interview with my beneficiary, from when we lined up outside the building until the interview was complete took about an hour total. Most petitioners were present with the beneficiary during the process and there were no issues admitting both petitioner and beneficiary into the building. I think it was beneficial for both of us to be there as we were both asked questions about our petition.
The interview itself was less than 10 minutes and all the interviewers seemed to be very nice and easy to communicate with. We were asked a few questions about family meetings, how we communicate, if we were able to visit during COVID. We were asked to provide more photos together as we initially only provided 4-6. Our interviewer looked over the photos and them gave them back to us. The woman interviewing us approved our application and we were sent on our way.
