CR1 VISA approved!! 🥰â¤ï¸
- They asked me for my passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate and police certificate (they did not ask any of my husband’s document at all). They asked for my police certificate of the Philippines, however i don’t have it, and i didn’t need to provide it because i was 9 years old when i came to Canada, which is the reason why the lady also said they didn’t need it as i was underage.
- Interview: I was just asked who is my petitioner, how did we meet, when and where, which state i will be going, what he does for work, if he was previously married, if we have a kid together. She also asked if i read the document that i was given before this step, and she asked what was it about. (Domestic Violence paper)
My appointment was at 8:45 AM and got out by 10:15. I was super nervous. You get to the elevator, then you stand on Window 6, the person sometimes isn’t there so you need to wait for the person to appear. Then you wait for almost 30 minutes to be called for your documents, and then your interview.
