The interview was straightforward and quick. The appointment was for 08:30, we arrived around 08:00, and by 09:10 it was all finished. When we arrived my husband presented his passport at the gate and went in through the security screening (any food or electronics such as your cellphone must be left with the guard while you're inside). I was not allowed to accompany him, only the people doing the interview could go in. He was directed inside to the principal waiting area where there are a number of windows to interact with the Embassy officials in the back office. He waited a bit and then was called up to a window. There wasn't really any privacy, he said he could overhear other people's interviews at the nearby windows. They requested to see the medical exam envelope, the marriage certificate, his other civil documents (background check, his birth certificate, etc), and the joint sponsor's I-864 form. He was asked a few very basic questions and then told he was approved! Here are the questions he remembered:

Your wife's name is XXX? (it wasn't my first name, so he just explained, "that's her middle name, her first name is XXX")
Who is your joint sponsor in the United States?
Where does the joint sponsor live?
Where will you live in the United States?

Afterwards the Embassy sends the visa to a DHL pickup location that you choose when registering your assigned interview date with the Embassy website (there is no option to receive it at your address). My husband received notice that the passport with his visa was ready to be picked up less than a week after the interview, it was very fast.
