Finally approved. The Montreal consulate (although recently doing much better) has had a track record for over a year of delays and low performance in comparison with similar countries. I am happy they are catching up but frustrated they delayed myself and many other people. The consulate itself was clean and nice. The overall experience getting my interview was professional and efficient so no complaints there. 5 for experience in the consulate, a 1 on the wait time to get the interview.
