Interview was scheduled for 7:45 am on Nov 18. There was another person scheduled at that time as well so the officer only allowed one person at a time. I was asked to wait outside until called. Around 10 minutes later I was called inside, asked COVID questions, went through a metal detector and placed my files through an x-ray scanner. Once I took the elevator upstairs, i was asked to wait for counter 5, 6, or 7 to open up. Counter 7 opened, a very nice woman asked me for my documents (only originals - passport bio page, actual passport, long birth certificate, RCMP police check, 2x2 photo, and i offered her my court records). She then confirmed my address and phone number and I updated my wife's address and phone number. This process took less than 5 minutes. I was then asked to sit down until an officer was ready for me. About 20 minutes passed by and my name was announced on a loud speaker to come to counter 1. The a nice gentleman asked me questions in regards to our marriage (when we met, how many times, what i do, what my wife does etc.). The officer looked through my documents and then said I have no issues with approving your visa. I was given the welcome letter and was out the door by 8:45am.
