Had my interview today and it was a great experience.
Do not show up early you will be turned away. Arrive as close to (within 5 mins ) or exactly at your appointment time.
You will go through airport like security. Do not have backpacks etc. Just documents and what’s needed. They will take your phone and in my case Apple Watch and put it in a tiny locker and give you a key.
You are asked to check in where they take your passport and ask you to take a seat. You’re then called up again and they start requesting the documents and go through that with you and lastly proceed to finger print you. You will then be asked to take a seat again.
You are then called up to another window where your interview begins. You swear the oath, finger printed, and are asked questions. My interview with my interviewing officer was nice. It felt more like a conversation and it had a really nice flow. After about 10 mins he said everything was In Order and handed me my pink paper and said “welcome to the United States of America!â€
Ps of course I had mine in the middle of covid so face covering and sanitizer was a MUST.
