Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Wife' had an expedited appointment. She stayed at the Bayview hotel the night before as its directly across from the US Embassy. The embassy was running behind the day of the interview, said really short staffed. She spent two hours in the embassy.
She went to the pre-screen where they asked for all her originals and they could see on a monitor what items you sent over from NVC. So I would not recommend including anything extra when doing the NVC step as they only looking for the Filipino civil docs. They did not look at any of her evidence. The American consulate asked all the basic questions:

who is your petitioner?

what is your name?

where did you meet?

how did it go?

what did you like about him?

what is he’s job?

looks like he keeps changing jobs?

did you travel outside country?

how many times did you met him?

how long does he stay with you?

when did first met him?

when did you first met him personal?

when did he proposed?

do you have children?

did he have children?

are you previously married?

is he previously married?

what happened?

Where you ever refused a visa?

My wife was refused a tour visa prior due to no prior travel history,

The consular then reviewed the original civil docs and my divorce decree..

Although my wife said the consular was friendly she refused my wife and put her in administrative processing. My wife started crying and asked why, the consular said she was not allowed to discuss. Only that my wife wold receive an email or call when finished her review. She was in AP for 7 days. Took us 13 months to the whole immigration process. Best of luck to all!
