The officer was very stern and unfriendly for the majority of the interview. The moment we sat down, he started asking questions about our relationship and even asked me how many girlfriends I have had before meeting my spouse. Later in the interview, he did warm up and told me that I’d make a great young leader in the immigrant community. So, it was definitely an emotional roller coaster.
