Overall, a very pleasant, straightforward experience! Our officer was friendly and would laugh at our jokes. The only drawback would be the long wait times.... we arrived at 10am for our 10:30 appointment, and didn't leave until noon. She brought us in together for the interview -- we took that as a good sign! However, I couldn't answer when questions were directed to my husband and vice versa. That was a little tricky since my husband kept looking at me for confirmation whenever he answered a question lol. But after 2-3 questions we got the gist. After swearing us in, we were asked:

- Each others' birthdays, parents' names and residence, educational background, graduation dates
- How we met, when we got officially together, engagement date, when we got married, why we picked that particular date, who attended, where we celebrated after etc.
- If we've met each other parents (we haven't met everybody due to geographical constraints), and why
- My husband's parents could not attend the wedding, so we were asked about that too
- If/where we are currently working
- If we have had any previous marriages or children
- I also don't have a car or license, so the officer asked me how I get around the city! I was a bit surprised given that we have the T that goes basically everywhere, but she was happy with my answer nonetheless!

My husband got my college graduation date and our landlord's name wrong, but she gave me a chance to correct him and it didn't seem to take away from our legitimacy. My advice would be to have as much proof of joint residence as possible and be friendly and courteous. After the interview, answering the I-485 questions, and submitting all our additional forms, we were approved on the spot! Yay!
