Manchester FO is very efficient. Overall AOS process took about 5 months more or less from the time we filed.

We were scheduled for 8:10am and we arrived at 7:30am. We had to wait in the parking lot and wait for the doors to open. Security was very cheerful and polite. Mobile phones are allowed but needs to be screened separately.

Interview was on the second floor. The whole place was empty. Aside from another couple who was there for biometrics appointment, no one else was there aside from employees. We waited in the seating area for about 10 mins then the IO came out and introduced himself. We were interviewed separately, the petitioner first then beneficiary.

Each interview lasted for about 15 mins. Oath then he asked for the basic information found on the forms. IO was friendly and very kind, even jokes around. It was a very light and easy conversation. Only the standard yes/no questions took time.

The officer only asked for lease agreement, joint account statement, insurance policies and kept the copy. He never even looked at our pictures. We had five thick folders of documents with us.

After the beneficiary interview, he called back my wife (petitioner) and told us he was approving our application. We will receive the greencard in 1-3 weeks.

We were out of the field office by 9am and case status was updated to approved when we got home.
