My fiance arrived at the embassy and was asked for his appointment confirmation letter and gave him a number.
He waited to be called and they asked him for the following documents: Passport, Police Solvency, DS-160, original certified birth certificate, MRV receipt, DUI (identification card/ ID)

He was asked to wait until his number was called. Once called, he went up to a window and the officer started the interview.
He asked:
1. What is your name & date of birth
2. What is your fiances name?
3. Where does your fiance work?
4. How did you meet your fiance?
5. (Follow up to #4)So you know her mother?
6. Why did you decide to get married in the U.S. instead of here in El Salvador?
7. Why are you getting married?
8. Have you committed a crime and been convicted?
9. Have you traveled to the U.S. before?
10. Have you lived in any other country?
Do you or your fiance have any tattoos?
11. Do you have photos?

Approved!!

My fiance said the interview itself was very quick, the waiting to be called takes the longest. He was handed a paper that explains how he can track his passport.

Although we took the I-134 and supporting documents they did not ask him for them.
