My appointment was scheduled at 8:30AM but I arrived there 30 minutes earlier. I was told to wait in line for the Visa applicants, by a very friendly lady, and eventually i reached the counter and was given a ticket and a sticker on my passport. Afterwards I was told to wait in line for the security check (which is very similar to a security check at a airport) and since i had nothing but my documents on me it was quick and simple). Afterwards, we were told to continue inside the main building, a very large one. It was quite beautiful and the wall had a really nice drawing on it. This is, however, where a misunderstanding happened. Me and 3 other applicants were told by the receptionist to go to the waiting area and wait for our numbers (the ones we had on our tickets) to appear on a screen to proceed with the interview. However, he forgot to mention that we should first check in with another receptionist who would confirm our appointments and hand over our cases to the officers. That ended up with us waiting for about 3 hours before one of the applicants went back and inquired about it. We were then informed to check in with the receptionist and thankfully it was not too late. Though we did wait for a long time in the end all 3 of us got approved (and the officers even apologized for the inconvenience!)

After submitting some more documents I was informed about the process and was given another pamphlet on domestic violence and was told to wait for my number to appear on the screen. When my number (finally!) appeared i walked up to the counter where the officer took an oath from me and then my fingerprints. Then the interview started. The questions were simple and straightforward and not too many in volume (probably because they were running out of time because of the misunderstanding earlier)
When did we meet (both online and in person)
How i proposed
When would we get married
What plans we had.
After i answered truthfully to all the questions the officer told me he was ready to approve my visa and that i would get it in the mail within the next two weeks!
