Review Topic: K1 Visa

The interview was not difficult. We arrived at embassy early for our 8am interview, we were directed to the immigrant visa area, took a number, and waited about 20 minutes. We then turned in the visa forms, antecendentes penales, legalized birth certifcate and our I-134 make sure that you have a copy of the I-134 sponsers passport and/or us birth certifate to prove us citizenship. The lady looked over all the forms, and then directed us to the cashier to pay the $131 fee. Then we returned and waited for a consular officer to call us. Within 5 minutes we were called up. They asked us where and how we met, and why we hadn't gotten married in Venzuela. Then they told me (the us citizen) to sit down. Then they asked Brigmer what my brother's name was, what my brother did for a living, where I worked, where I studied, and what my parents names where and their professions. Then they called me back up and approved the visa!! The process was painless and pleasant
