Overall, the experience was fantastic!

When you arrive, try to get there early as you have to stop at a security checkpoint at the bottom of the hill to give the guards your information before they even let you on the property. We got there about 30 minutes before the 1pm scheduled time and we were allowed in with a group of other people. Leave your cell phones in the car or leave them with the security guards at the second checkpoint.

We were in the waiting room for about 30 minutes (much like the MVA/DMV in the United States where they call your number) before it was our turn. The first time you are called is to get your information in order, but it is not the actual interview. After this part, I went to the bathroom quickly and cam out to realize my fiancée had started the interview already. I approached the window and asked the gentleman if I could be there for the process and he said "no, you have to sit down" to which I complied.

According to my fiancée, he was incredibly nice and patient and did not want to see much further information (we had everything prepared and likely did WAY more than was necessary) and he didn't ask too many questions. He approved us rather quickly and the couple behind us.

I have no complaints about this process. Thanks to the people at the US Embassy in Panama! 🤗

If anyone who is doing the K1 Visa through Panama has any questions, feel free to inbox me and I can try to help as I think this process may have changed a little bit since the last few reviews I see here. Good luck!
