I thought it went pretty well overall!

Getting there: We took the Orange Line to State. Our interview was at 8:15am, and we got to security at 8. They let us bring our coffee in, and didn't care about our cell phones either. We entered the Cambridge St. public entrance, but later learned there's a public entrance that faces Boston City Hall (closer to Congress St) that puts you right beside the immigration offices. It didn't really matter. The signs are very clear, and we got to the waiting area no problem. They took the first page of our interview notice (you do not get this back) and told us to wait to be called. (Side note: if you will need to fill out an interpreter form, bring a pen. The woman at the front desk refused to give one out to anyone). Some people suggested sitting close to reception so you can hear your name, but they circled the whole room announcing the name, so don't stress about it. We didn't have to wait very long either.

The interview: We were interviewed at the same time. First we took the oath, and then our officer asked each of us about the other's name/birthday/family members. She was very friendly the whole time. She went through what looked like her copy of our I-129f and I-485 and asked us about all the trips we took, and checked things off. She made my husband answer the giant list of yes/no questions on the I-485 again about how he's never killed anyone, committed treason, etc. She asked us if we had a joint checking account, and when I handed over the bank statement, she went through it and verified our rent check and my direct deposit income.
We gave her:
-joint checking account statement
-credit card statement with husband as authorized user
-lease with both our names
-utility bills with both our names
-my work health insurance & life insurance, where husband is listed as dependent/beneficiary
We brought everything on the check list except for an I-693. My husband did his K-1 medical in England, and had a complete DS-3025. She didn't even ask us about it.

Post interview: She didn't tell us that we were approved and said they'd send us something in a few weeks about their decision. Then, after we left the building, she called my cell to say that she'd forgotten to ask for our marriage certificate, and if I would bring it back in she'd meet me in the waiting room. I can't imagine how much longer we would have waited if she hadn't done that! So grateful! The next morning, our case updated on the new website to say a card has been issued!!!
