As others have said, this is a very easy part of the process. Although I got flustered on a particular question and feel like I didn't answer it confidently, the interviewing officers are professional and are clearly used to some nerves - if your case is in check then it shouldn't be a problem. Other reviews helped me so here we go with mine...
Arrived half an hour before my appointment. You loop to the left of the building if you're coming from Vauxhall Underground station and outside there are two lines. The first is a quick check where two girls write a note on your printed DS160/DS260, they then ask you to queue to enter the site and this is the security check line. It's airport style but fairly fast. You emerge into a courtyard and there is another line that stretches outside to actually get into the embassy. If you are CR-1/IR-1 or K-1 you simply walk past the line, inside the building and up to reception. They take your details again, hand you a ticket number and ask you to take an elevator to the (I think it was) first floor. Take two left turns and you're in the area for immigrant interviews. It's open plan with TVs showing current ticket numbers, so you can hear other interviews as they happen. Waited 5 minutes to be called up by the first gentleman who took the original copies of my civil documents, e.g. birth certificate, police certificate, and asked how many times I'd been to the US. At first he asked for the original AOS which I started searching for, but he said he actually has it on file so doesn't need it. You're told to sit and wait to be called again. 5 minutes later a second gentlemen interviewed me and asked me:
- When did you meet?
- Where/how did you meet?
- What do they do for a living?
- (This question threw me off, it's like he wasn't sure what he wanted to ask) You are a young couple, why did you decide to get married so quickly... *ramble ramble* what do you guys talk about? What do you have in common?
After that he said everything looks OK, we are going to issue your visa. I walked away a bit disorientated. Overall, extremely easy and despite the peculiar question, the interviews and people were extremely polite and understanding.
