So I completed my interview with the embassy today, It was reallly straightforward. I had the following documents:
Affidavit of support +copy of petitioners tax returns.
Passport
2 x Passport pictures (5â€x5â€)
Police cert + copy
Birth Cert + copy
Copy of police report from my previous stolen Passport
Evidence of relationship - I had print outs of pictures from the last 6 months. I saw other with physical photographs but I just had a word doc with all the evidence.
Sealed medical.
I had other documents but I wasn’t asked for any of it.
The pre interview was a breeze, got called to 1 window to give in all The above documents. The Irish lady behind the window was a litttle miffed that I’d sent in my notice of readiness before my medical came back even though I had it on the day. There were a few people ahead of me and I overheard the majorities medical hadn’t come back in time. If this is the case for you, go do the interview and send in the medical after. It’s perfectly normal and acceptable.
I think I’ve covered it all. He then said, ok we’re all set! He congratulated me and wished me well. About 45 minutes after i walked into the embassy I was approved. Delighted.
PS - I had a few business visas denied in 2017/2018 and the CO didn’t even mention them so if you have a similar case.. don’t worry.
