My appointment was at 9.30. I arrived at 9.00. There is an outside desk to queue at, which is on the left side of the building, as you look from Nine Elms Road.

There was a separate line of people along the wall when I arrived, who had been told to wait there.
I was told to come back at 9.15.
At 9.15, I was sent forward to the queue to enter the building, which is just a room for security. After clearing that, you go through to the large courtyard.
Next is a queue to enter the main building. Once inside, a lady asked if there was anyone for immigration, so I was able to skip the queue.
My DS-160 was stickered, and I was directed to the lifts and to booths 20-21.
There are seats next to each booth, and there are screens which bing whenever the next number comes up. The numbers are also shown above each booth.

When my number was shown, I went to the window. The guy was friendly, and I think he had a slight American accent. He gave my chest X-Ray back, and I was asked to give my passport, civil forms (divorce decree, police certificate and birth certificate), i-134, tax return from my fiancee (I think), and 1 photo. He didn't want the copies, or anything else. I also had my all fingerprints scanned. He asked how many times I had been married before, whether I had served in the military, or lived abroad, or had a visa before, whether we were engaged, and checked the first name of my fiancee... He gave me my documents back apart from my passport, then I was sent back down to wait again.

For the 2nd call-up, it looks like you are called to booths 22-23. This guy had a stronger American accent. I had some of my fingerprints scanned again, and had to raise my hand for the oath, and just say "I do". I was asked some friendly questions about how we met, where my fiancee lives, and when we plan to get married. Also, he asked about my fiancee's daughters: whether they live with her and how often they see their father. He said there were no issues with my case, and I should receive my visa in 2 weeks! He gave me a little card with information on what happens next.

I was out at 10.15, so 1 hour in total.
