Had my K1 Visa interview today and it went very well and is so less stressful than what you may think, it was a breeze and it is all pretty much straight forward two discussions and bam approved.
Started off outside the embassy where the lady asked for me DS-160 and my passport, she then signed my DS-160 and handed it back to me and said to come back 30 minutes before 11:30 which I did after I spent that time hanging out at the nearby Waitrose around the corner.
About 10minjtes later I was called up at another window just a few feet away and the guy had already checked over the documents I handed in earlier and even had the photographs that I sent as proof of relationship before hand on show. He then asked me only a few questions, he was also very friendly.
He then passed me back my documents and said ok it’s all good every thing is great and said I should receive my documents on 7-10 days and handed me a receipt and my birth certificate and deed of name change. I was surprised as I thought I’d be questioned more and perhaps even taken into a private room to talk about it! Literally 5 questions that didn’t even take 5 minutes and it was approved.
