We could not have had an easier time at the Syracuse office this afternoon when my husband and I went so he could get his fingerprints taken for Removing Conditions. The appointment was at 3:00 pm, but we showed up about 20 minutes early because we didn't want to chance it. When we got to the office, the only people in the reception area were the security guard and two officers behind the windows, plus my husband and I... no one else was there to be attended! I was able to go in with my husband (I'm the USC) without issue.
The man who saw us was extremely friendly and kind, and even joked around with us and wished us happy holidays when we left. He definitely went out of his way to be kind and put us at ease. The whole process did not take more than 10 minutes, and we were out the door before 3:00 pm actually hit.
The officer let me know that they only attend InfoPass appointments there on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so I am assuming that the other days they reserve for appointments like ours, and that this was why no one else was there.
Overall....wonderful experience. We are so thankful we did not have to go all the way to Buffalo, which is a much more hectic office.
