My interview took me all morning. I arrived a little before 8 (my appointment was at 8) and got out a little after 11am.
Embassy staff were all polite and helpful.
I got a 221g green slip because we were supposed to bring a different affidavit of support form (there are several forms within this one and you are supposed to fill out the one that applies to you. My husband filled out the EZ which you use if you are the only one sponsoring your spouse, but a couple of weeks before the interview I got an email from the embassy saying they needed a joint sponsor, so my mother in law filled the form for us, but this automatically ruled out the EZ form, apparently, and we should have filled out the same form as my mother in law, also for him).
Anyways, this was on the 21st of June, I brought the right form (scanned and printed, no need to bring original) to Cargo Expresso on the next day and I got my passport on July 4th, so less than 2 weeks after my interview, which I think is pretty good.
As far as the interview itself, it was quick and the agent asked some questions about our relationship and asked to see some photos. He was polite and didn't make me nervous at all. Just make sure you respond what they ask and bring proof of your relationship.
Now I'm looking at tickets and hopefully will be with my husband soon, so we can see my belly grow together
Good luck everyone!
