The embassy was taking too long contacting us so that we can schedule an interview. We took the situation into our own hands.
I went online and found out on our own the necessary steps we had to take to complete everything required and scheduled our interview.
When the interview date came the embassy realized what we had done and told us we had to continue to wait until they contacted us and that they would have to approve and instruct us for another interview date. They told us we had to leave without having an interview.
We left the embassy and took a 5 hour ride back to where we were staying. They emailed us the next day with the intructions and we had to pay the ds 160 fee again in order to reschedule for a new interview date.
I am happy to share that today my fiance had his interview. I couldn't stay in Ghana to wait for the new interview date so he went alone. I made sure to complete and organize all his necessary documents. He said the interview took almost 30 minutes questioning him because I'm 11 years older than him and Christian but he is Muslim. They asked so many questions and the interviewer even requested that a second interviewer come in on his interview.
😄😃😀😃
They approved him!!!!!
He has to go back in a few days to pick up his visa. We are on ustraveldocs.com to track his passport.
This was a grueling process but when Jesus says yes nobody can say no!
Stay strong 💪!
