Very prompt. Four steps.
1) Entering Consulate. Straightforward, like airport security. Recommend taking as few electronics / belongings with you to simplify for yourself.
2) Check in at window, then wait to be called.
3) Initial screening at window. Arrange relevant docs. Note, police certs must have your full name as on your passport.
4) Interview with officer. Very straightforward. Answer honestly. Approval decision there & then if all ok. Had to get my police cert updated & return by mail the following day. Now being processed.
