Been there just once to ask a question about proof of marriage. Wanted to go over my documents with an Immigration Officer. The IO was totally clueless to the CR-1 process and the type of evidence I needed to provide. He just gave me a number and email the to CSC in Laguna Beach, in which they told me to go back to the LA CIS office. This is what you call the "run-around".
