Hi All,
Need your suggestion regarding my interview.
We went for the interview today. The interview was more than 30 min long. The officer asked us lot of question. At the beginning of the interview the officer want to give us a RFE straight forward for incomplete medical report but I have the updated one with me and give it to her (here I want to mention that I submit my file in Feb 2016 and they should still accept the old medical form by that time. But to be safe I also carry the updated one with me. And they don’t mention this in the RFE I got before). After that he start reviewing our case and start asking question about lot of things. he also asked for my wife naturalization certificate but my wife was a kid when he became citizen through her parents and never have the naturalization certificate (my wife explain to the officer). Is there any possibility to get RFE for this? We showed pass port, birth certificate everything. After give answer to all her question he wants to see our picture. We show the officer our wedding and after wedding pictures (even though we put lot of picture with our filing). At the end he said your case is mostly approve (or most likely to be). I asked the officer if they need any document or are we going to get any RFE? Officer didn’t clear that question just said that we don’t need anything right now. For further communication we will send mail. Officer also mention that he has to check my medical report that we submit today and certain thing (I heard he said something about back ground check). Then give us the continue review recite and told us it’s just a proof that you complete the interview. And mention that, officially it usually takes 30 days for any notification. he noted down few thing during our interview including that my wife didn’t meet my parents (We mentioned that, we will went to our country right after the approval, as this is something very important for us).
We are almost certain that we may got the approval asap. My parents and most of the family member are expecting us to visit the country asap and to arrange a reception party in my country. My wife and in-laws are very excited to meet my parents for the first time. Lot of emotion is involved here (as we are married for 1.5 years now and my wife didn’t meet my parents). Everything was almost set for end of January and now I am scared that they may asked for any RFE that may ruined the whole plan.
I share my experience now I need your suggestion about the outcome.

Thanks everyone and have a nice holiday.
