Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Super quick and easy once he went in. He was the first appointment of the day (though he had a 30-40 minute wait). He had a 7:30 am appointment. They took his passport and did a search etc the usual procedures when entering an embassy. They did a safety check of the documents with the brush and x-ray. He was given two slips with a number on it (a kind of receipt) - one for finger printing and one for the interview.
There was then a document check. He handed them over and was told to wait. Though we had an overwhelming amount of evidence with us they didn't take any of it. He had to take an oath (telling the truth etc).
They asked how we met and when. They also asked where I (spouse in the US) live.
That was it. No other questions for us. Probably because I previously provided a ridiculous amount of evidence.
After that, they said that the visa was approved and that he would receive it in 5-7 business day. They also gave him a documents that states his rights on it and a visa approval paper.
They were very nice, especially the woman conducting the interview.
