My interview was scheduled for 11:30am. I had made sure that I got to Bond Street an hour before just in case there were any delays on the train and tube. I went to a really cute cafe near by and had a coffe and went up to the blue visa tent. I told the lady that I had an interview at 11:30 and she asked me oh are you ..... and I confirmed and she asked me for my appointment letter and passport and said great walk over to that door and they'll let you in. Through the door is the security and its pretty similar to the airport but obviously much much smaller. Everything was fine and I was told to go to the right around the building and then walk inside. Inside is a reseption desk and the lady asked me for my appointment letter and placed the stickers on it. She told me to go straight ahead to the large waiting area and wait for my number to be called up. I went in sat down for about 20 min then was called to one of the "desks" it looks very similar to the post office or the bank. She asked for all of my documents and ticked them off her list. She did confirm that they'd not received my medical yet. Then she told me to sit down again and wait for my number to be called up again. I waited about 30 -45 min then was called. By this point I was really nervous and had gotten myself all stressed out about the medical. I walked up to another desk and a really nice gentleman greeted me and asked how I was doing. I said I was ok but a bit nervous. He told me that's normal but I shouldn't worry at all. I think the interview took a total of 5 min and he asked me the following questions
1) where I met my fiancé
2) why I had been in the US at the time when I met him and how many days we had spent together then before I flew home.
3) how many times I had been there since and how many times he had been over here
4) he also asked me a couple of questions about my son which sadly for custody reasons are not joining me at this moment in time. He was super understanding and said unfortunately these things happen but that I should stay hopeful and that it should not be hard to get the visa for him later once and if his dad agrees for hi to move to the US.
5) he then said, your medical unfortunately isn't here yet, did they need anything additional, and I confirmed that they had needed a letter from my GP which they received and that they've confirmed that they've received it.

He then said, well I'm gonna go ahead and approve your visa today and it should be issued within 14 days pending your medical.

I think when he said those words I spaced out a bit and he asked if I had any questions and I said no but thank you so so much, I asked if that was it and he said yes you can go outside and call him now.

I must say that from start to finish everyone I spoke with were extremely pleasant and nice to me and all my stress and worried had been for nothing.
