our appointment time was 7:10. got there at around 6:15. i really meant to arrive there that early just in case, since i have K2. i had coffee first across the embassy. by 6:30, we have decided to get inside. we were instructed to stand in line at white tent #3 and the lady guard asked for our DS- 160s. she put sticker bar codes on each then asked us to get to the next building. as you go through security checks for your bags, you do not need to be worried which way to go next since every several meters, there are marshals to assist you where to go. which is impressive, they already know where to lead you. as soon as you get inside, another security check for bags. just don't bring cellphones or any flash drive or USB for less hassle transaction with security. another couple of marshals, to tell you where to seat until you get to the line for corresponding window. Filipino consul + interview with her, another Filipino consul for data entry (this one case to case), another line for finger scanning, then another line for the American consul. I am so blessed to be asked simple and basic questions only, fiance and i both never married (remember I have K2), It is an American government and property so would expect more strict when it comes to compliance and very organized.
