Solo interview
When I arrived the official told me which line to stand in after I left my phone with the "locker lady" for 350 pesos since this embassy doesn't have any places to leave your electronics. I waited in the cafeteria for about 15 mins before going into the interview waiting area. Its pretty fast up to this point but the waiting is the longer part. There was another line to give the documents which they ask some questions like; whats his name, where does he live, if we have children, if any of us had married before and provided divorce papers; if I came alone. These were close ended questions with the exception of his address. Then the wait began for about 2 hours before my turn. Many applicants made small talk asking why he didn't come which I said there he didn't have to come. I noticed couple of people that seemed to get denials. The other cases that were approved demonstrated happiness by hugging and such.
So my turn came and he greeted me followed by questions; whats his name -*;where was he since he wasn't present-NY;why he didn't come-i said he would come pick me up so we could travel back together; how long we were together-little over 2 years; how long married-around 1.5 years; how we met-facebook;how we kept in touch-socials networks listed a few; if he had children-no;if I had children-no; how many times he visited-4; ask for bonafide at this time; if his family come to wedding-no;why- mother in another country and father due to work issues; if we communicated in English or Spanish-spanish. Then the magical words - APROBADA and I got the final paper.
So there you have it folks. Do it right and it will all go well. It all lasted a few minutes.
