My interview was at 9am on June 13 2017. I was very nervous and anxious to start with but since I've read many reviews on Vj, that made me a little prepared. Security is just like the airport. They let me in haf an hr before the appt. Game me the laminated sheet of paper and told me to go upstairs. I went straight upstairs to th 19th floor. There I had plenty of time to organize my papers. I had my docs sorted in the order 15 mins before. And I was waiting to call my name at the window. The guy called me at 857am to collect the documentation. He started by taking my finger prints. Asked for all documents in order one by one. Then asked me sit down again. (Just a quick suggestion. Please have the most current police clearance certificate) consular asked me for it and I had it so he seemed happy. Within 20 mins I was called to window 7. Very friendly guy. Asked me few questions regarding our relationship, why USA and not Canada, and then he asked if my wife is living in Canada. (She is ) and that's it. The guy wanted a job offer letter from us company due to domicile issue. Although I had my wife's Driving lic., medicare, us bank account, auto insurance, letter that we will stay at her parents pl.,but officer wanted job offer letter. He was just stuck on that. I was so heart broken the minute he gave me 221g. But again he assured me by putting job offer letter on the 221g, that that's the only document he needs and once he receives it, my case will be apprOved. He then said if I am going to send the document today then he will keep my passport. I said yes. And I asked him how long it will take once to get the passport. He said 2-3 weeks. I was like okay. I went to the hotel quickly called my wife's us employer he wrote the letter and signed it and sent to Montreal within 2 hrs of the interview. And got the message back that they received it.

My status went to admin processing on June 13.. Changed to issued on June 26. Waiting for the passport to come with visa stamp on it.
